Subterranean Termites

How prevalent are they in South Carolina? Answer: VERY MUCH SO
The average colony size of subterranean termites is around 350,000 individuals, and an average ½ acre lot can harbor as many as seven colonies.
How much damage can they cause? The average termite claim can run from $7,500 to $10,000 but can be much higher if the infestation is severe.

Products We Use To Control Termites

Termidor SC/HE

A liquid treatment done post-construction that kills active termite infestations and provides protection around your home for up to 10 years.
Usually requires drilling into patios/porches and inside garages and can be somewhat invasive.
Costs typically around $1,300 or more.

Trelona Annual Bait Stations

Acts as an alternative to invasive liquid treatment.
Does not require any drilling into patios/porches or garages.
The stations will need to be checked at the same time an annual inspection is to be performed on the home.
Provides year-round protection from termites with active termite bait.

Termite Inspections

We provide a comprehensive termite inspection and report for your home. The CL – 100 report will detail any signs of infestation and termite vulnerabilities. If termites are present, we'll provide treatment options to fit your budget and schedule.

What is a CL-100?

It is a legally-binding document that a real estate closing needs before the lender can release the funds to the buyer.

Why do I need to have one done?

While mandatory in some states, it protects the buyer from purchasing a home that needs repair from wood-destroying insects such as termites, wood-boring beetles and wood-destroying fungus.
